Arrivals with GPS Rings Quievrain 04/19/2023
Midweek Quievrain, taking advantage of opportunities that arise.
After driving to Quievrain myself on Saturday, now a midweek training flight with the courrier.
Released at 9:00 a.m. with sunshine and a NE wind, again NE, so hard work for the pigeons, but better that than a SW wind.
The short distance specialists started arriving at 10:35 a.m., then it’s always a bit of a wait for the long-distance fanciers.
At 10:39 a.m. they started arriving and came home like a train.
Within 10 minutes, 43/78 pigeons were back in the loft, and the last one arrived just after 3:00 p.m.
The GPS pigeons, two regulars and a newcomer.
The pigeons took a nice line. The blue one on the map is the same one that always takes the “straightest” line home. Today, too, only 10 km extra in the wings.

If we look at the details of the Port of Antwerp, we see that they curve slightly around the docks again.

For the sake of completeness, here is an overview of the arrivals:

A slightly less detailed report on the GPS rings, due to a lack of time 🙂
