In 2011, I started again after moving from my parents’ home in Berendrecht to Hoevenen.
Initially, I started with the breeding team from the previous location, and this remained the case for several years.
Finally, in 2015-2016, the decision was made to invest heavily and purchase more targeted pigeons. This was done with one main goal in mind: to one day play a significant role in the long distance races, and more specifically in Barcelona.
The decision was made to purchase offspring of top breeders or offspring of Barcelona ace pigeons in multi-year rankings to strengthen the existing colony. At that time, the colony consisted mainly of pigeons from the line of the foundation hen “Het Moederke” (Gebr Devriesere) and her first two sons “De Carcassonne” and “Nestbroer 402,” along with pigeons from Jos and Bart Van Olmen and François Struyf.
